Hi, I’m Melina!

And I’m so glad you’re here.

The Season That Changed Me

I didn't grow up in a family of faith. In fact, it wasn't until one of the darkest seasons of my life that I truly came to know Jesus.

After becoming a wife and mother, I found myself struggling with postpartum depression and feeling like I was drowning in a life I had prayed for. I felt lost, discouraged, and disconnected from the person I used to be.

What changed me wasn't a strategy or a quick fix. It was Jesus, faithful friends who walked beside me, and the growing hope that this season wasn't the end of my story.

That experience gave me a deep love for encouraging women who find themselves in seasons they never expected and a desire to remind them they don't have to walk through them alone.

If You Asked My Friends…

My friends know I'm the one who gives long, slightly awkward hugs. I would choose a hug over a handshake every single time. They fill my soul.

Hugs Are My Love Language

By the time I was 18, I had traveled to more than 30 countries. My mom believed seeing the world was one of the best educations she could give me, and it gave me a deep appreciation for different people, cultures, and ways of life.

The World Was My Classroom

One of my favorite ways to end the day is taking our dog, Scout, for a walk at sunset. No headphones. No podcast. Just a chance to slow down, notice the beauty around me, and enjoy the sky God painted that evening.

I Never Miss A Sunset

A Little Encouragement Each Week

If you're looking for encouragement between events, I'd love to connect with you on Substack.

Each week, I write about faith, thought patterns, everyday habits, and what it looks like to live what we believe in the middle of real life.

It's where I share many of the ideas I'm currently wrestling with, learning, and teaching.

I'd love to have you there.
